As a longtime Bolling's music fan I resisted to be aware for a long time he might already have passed on, which not so long ago I found out - at the tail end of 2020. I knew I had seen this documentary some years ago and I'm glad that I found it back - which now constitutes a heartfelt homage and a lovely look behind the man and his work. Molto grazie. 🙏

documentaire touchant que j'avais vu il y a 5 ans ou plus. Il aurait pu faire une carrière internationale de "concertiste", mais il a préféré la mettre en parenthèse pour faire ( brillamment) de la musique de film. Un grand homme.

Absolutely wonderful, thank you! I've been avidly listening to Claude Bolling for most of my life, about 35 years now. It was thrilling to get a small, personal glimpse into the inner workings of such a master.
Il a bercé une partie de mes quelques années d'apprentissage de la musique... j'avais assisté à ses concerts pour ses 80 ans autant en version piano qu'en big band. Simplement génial. Un très grand musicien !

Belle auto mais trois defauts visibles: Armature de capote trop haute au milieu (elle devrait être horizontale), grille de calandre concave(elle devrait être droite), poignée de portière côté conducteur devrait être horizontale.

definitely sir, ill wait for that..its a big help for me as a musician to know and get in touch with some of the best composers still live even though only here in RUclips, last month i played one of his piece, the concerto for Classical guitar and jazz piano, and it makes me wonder of some parts of his composition that he can only answer.. anyway sir more power and ill follow and subscribe on your account sir :)
